Michael Kun's "The Locklear Letters," the movie

The current feature at My Book, The Movie: Michael Kun's The Locklear Letters.

Here's the gist of the story, from the author:
The Locklear Letters, in a nutshell, is the story of a computer salesman named Sid Straw, who lives in Baltimore. Sid sends a letter to his college classmate, Heather Locklear, the star of Melrose Place, Spin City and a number of other television series, requesting an autographed photo for his brother. Unfortunately, Sid's request leads to more and more letters that have a terrible effect upon his job, his relationships and his mental health.
The book has been optioned, so it may yet become a movie. Read on for the author's thoughts about the actors who might portray his characters.

Michael Kun is the author of A Thousand Benjamins, The Locklear Letters, My Wife and My Dead Wife, You Poor Monster, and Corrections to My Memoirs. His short stories have appeared in Other Voices, Fiction, Indy Men's Magazine, Story Quarterly, and Cottonwood, among other publications.

Earlier this year he applied the Page 69 Test to Corrections to My Memoirs.
